CLOSE TO THE SUN IS THE BEST ITALIAN GAME 2020

Close to the Sun won the BEST ITALIAN GAME 2020 award at the IVGA 2020 during the First Playable event in Pisa.

Storm in a Teacup is extremely proud for this award and is willing to thank the team that worked on the game, our publisher Wired Productions, Epic Games for the technical support, but above all, the company and the team wish to say “THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!” to all the players that enjoyed playing Close to the Sun.

To select the winners of the Italian Video Game Awards 2020 was a jury made up of journalists representing some of the main international newspapers in the sector and a world-renowned industry professional: Matthew Handrahan (Editor-in-Chief of GamesIndustry.biz), Sam Loveridge (Global Editor-in-Chief of GamesRadar), Taylor Lyles (collaborator for several industry titles, including The Verge) and Rami Ismail (Co-Founder of the famous Dutch indie development studio Vlambeer, creator titles like Ridiculous Fishing, Luftrausers and Nuclear Throne).
